AED Scavenger Hunt Update – Week 2
Goal to ID AEDs in the Area and Bring Awareness to CPR Training During National Heart Month
Fort Worth, TX — February 17, 2017 — We are wrapping up week 2 of the AED Scavenger Hunt! We have over 35 teams and individuals registered and AED locations are being reported regularly. THANK YOU!!
Remember, your efforts to ID and report AED locations could help save a life!! Oh, and there is the little thing of the cash prize and bragging rights!!!
It’s not too late to join the action! Here are basic rules of the hunt:
- The contest starts Wednesday, February 1st and runs through February 28th
- When you locate an AED, report a brief description of it, Including a photo of the AED, the building address for the AED, its location within the building, and whether the device appears to be ready for use on the contest Facebook page (NTXAED), Twitter @NTXAED or by Instagram at NTXAED

We have also been asked about opportunities for CPR and AED training. The North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Committee has take home kits for Hands Only CPR training.
