CBS 11’s J.D. Miles, with the clinical supervision of
MedStar personnel Christopher Sanchez, Philip Akin and Jonathan Miles,
conducted a demonstration on the hemodynamic effects of being inside a closed,
hot car in 103 degree weather.
The event unfolded LIVE on the evening news, including a
live, in-studio interview with our team as they prepared for the event.
This was an AMAZING partnership between our local media and
MedStar to educate our community. Chris,
Philip, and Jonathan did an outstanding job, and special thanks to Macara
Trusty for doing an incredible job the on-site coordination!!
